Modified marine container tanks! Introducing a case where vacuum and cooling can be achieved simultaneously.

We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of a "simple vacuum cooling and vacuum drying device." After harvesting vegetables (especially leafy greens like Chinese cabbage and cabbage), there is a lot of moisture attached to them, so it takes time to cool them to a certain temperature even if they are placed directly in the refrigerator, which affects their freshness. Therefore, we modified a marine container tank (made of SUS). After transporting the vegetables on pallets into the internal roll conveyor, we enabled simultaneous vacuum and cooling. [Case Study] General-purpose Vacuum Cooling Device

A vacuum cooling device with a simple structure that requires almost no maintenance! Affordable size and low cost.

We would like to introduce a case study of the "General-purpose Vacuum Cooling Device" developed by Foods Tech Co., Ltd. After harvesting vegetables, they have a lot of residual moisture, so it takes time to cool them to a certain temperature even if placed directly in the refrigerator, which affects their freshness. Therefore, we modified a used shipping container for production. It can be used on a rotating basis by individual farmers. Additionally, it can also be used as a cooling device, and when not in use, various items can be stored inside. [Overview] ■ Background leading to implementation - After harvesting vegetables, it takes time to cool them to a certain temperature due to high residual moisture. - Large vacuum cooling devices are expensive to use, making it difficult to perform small-scale vacuum cooling. ■ Solutions/Effects - Modified a used shipping container for production. - Installed a roller conveyor inside to allow for loading and unloading while on pallets. - Can be easily transported on trucks, making it usable in any location. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
